The Rankin School Track & Field Team had an great meet this past weekend (May 23 & 24) in Mabou at the Highland Region Track & Field Meet.  We have 10 students who will compete in 15 different events heading to the Provincial Tournament on June 6th and 7th at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex at CBU. Congratulations and Good Luck to all the athletes as they prepare for June 6 & 7!!

Chynna Johnson competing in Senior Girls Shot Put, Discus & Javelin,

Zachary MacKinnon competing in Senior Boys Triple Jump and Shot Put,

Alex Bonaparte competing in Senior Boys Discus,

Zachary Chaisson competing in Intermediate Boys Hurdles,

Patrick MacMillan competing in Senior Boys Pole Vault,

Maggie MacNeil competing in Intermediate Girls 3000 m Run,

Beth Cholock competing in Senior Girls 100 m & 400 m Dash,

Sean Freeborne in Senior Boys Hurdles,

Hector Shaw competing in Senior Boys Javelin

and the Boys 400 m Relay Team also qualified in their event – Sean, Patrick, Zachary MK, Teagan Bonaparte.
